Who is this for — and who isn't it for?

Why not just ask my priest?

You can, and you should. Hodios is for between visits — and in phase two, it will let clergy and monasteries pray or commemorate on your behalf where you cannot go yourself.

Is AI appropriate for sacred content?

It is made with clergy guidance and stays within the tradition. We tell the stories, histories and holy places — and we do not reimagine the canonical holy icons. The sacred image is left untouched.

Does it know my specific jurisdiction?

Yes. Greek, Russian, Serbian, Romanian, Antiochian, Ethiopian — each has its own version, its own calendar basis, its own saints and holy places. Hodios never flattens them into one.

Why is the Ethiopian/Coptic version different?

Because the Oriental Orthodox tradition is theologically and liturgically distinct, with its own calendar. We treat it as its own tradition, not a variant of the others, and build it with its own clergy guidance.
